Patrick Norton is as an independent international arbitrator affiliated with Arbitration.  Mr. Norton was previously affiliated with Arbitration Chambers of London, New York, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.  He served as a partner in leading international law firms in Washington, DC, London, Beijing, Shanghai, and Atlanta.  Mr. Norton practiced law as a registered foreign lawyer in China for more than six years (1999-2005) and as a registered foreign lawyer in the U.K. for two years (2012-14).  He previously served as a senior attorney with the U.S. Department of State for nearly a decade and as counsel to the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.  Mr. Norton has particular expertise in international arbitration and international anti-corruption investigations and has published extensively in those fields, as well as public international law, international commercial law, and Chinese law.
